Mr. Richard Akira Fukui

Richard passed away peacefully at the age of 99. A resident of Vancouver then Surrey, he spent his last 5 years living in Abbotsford, B.C.. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joyce, daughter Sandy, and son-in-law Lee, brother Ross (Ki), and sister-in-law Molly, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers John (Chiyoko), Joe (Bunny), and Jim (Molly), and sisters Alice (Al) and Betty (Sat). Richard lived a full life, deeply loved his family, siblings, his nieces and nephews, and friends. A Celebration of Life will take place September 17, 10:00 a.m., at the Forest Lawn Chapel, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby. The family respectfully requests no Koden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
