It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Raffaele is predeceased by his parents, Gerardo and Nivicella, as well as his sister, Maria. Survived by his loving family; wife Olimpia, children Nella (daughter) and Rolfe Luongo (son-in-law), grandchildren Claudia, Allesandra and Massimo, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 ' 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13 at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, B.C. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 14 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver, B.C.
