Raffaele Baldasso passed away on August 27, 2022 after celebrating his 94th birthday. He was born in Selva del Montello, Treviso, Italy to Giuseppe and Assunta (Bellun) Baldasso. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Ester in 2012, brothers, Gino, Aldo, in Italy and sister Maria in Switzerland. Raffaele is survived by his son, Ron (Linda), daughter, Diane (Russell), grandsons Spencer, Tyler (Kimberly) and great granddaughters, Cadence and Aubrey, sisters, Giselda, Oliva and Bertilla along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Raffaele enjoyed his time with his family, early morning walks in Central Park, and loved his time in his garden. He was always happy to share his knowledge with his family, neighbours and friends.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Jude's Parish, 3078 Renfrew Street, Vancouver on September 13 2022 at 10:30am, followed by Entombment at Garden Mausoleum, Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 12:00pm with a light reception following at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
