Polly Oye

Polly Oye, age 76, of Burnaby, BC, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side, on Monday, September 26, 2022. Polly was predeceased by her mother Mabel, her father Eli, brother Mike and sister Olga. Polly was lovingly survived by her husband Shiro of 52 years, her daughter Deanna (Cam), sister Helen (Joe) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Polly worked mostly in the medical field from nursing to first aid at Weiser Lock and as a medical office assistant at Old Orchard Medical Clinic. Her compassionate and caring nature truly made a difference with everyone she met. She will be sadly missed by many.

A Celebration of Polly's Life will be held at the Royal City Curling Club, 75 East 6th Avenue, New Westminster, on Sunday, November 13th from 2 pm to 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation in Polly's name.
