Mr. Monty Young

At 15, Monty left the family farm in Apsley, Ontario and travelled west, settling in Burnaby, B.C. He worked as a heavy equipment operator on major projects throughout the province (IUOE local 115 member for 40 years). Monty will be fondly remembered for his generous nature by 'always being there' for family and friends with help and support whenever needed. A loving and devoted family man to his wife Barbara (nee Pearson) (2011), daughters Kathy and Deborah (Glen Evans) and son Graham (Manuela). He was 'the best' and a proud Grandpa to granddaughters Katelin and Chelsea.

We will miss you deeply and find comfort in knowing that you are in the arms of our Lord in Heaven.
