Miki was born in Cimitile, Naples, Italy on September 11, 1940. She married Aniello Cafariello in 1963 and they moved to Canada where they had two children, (Gina and Joseph).
When she wasn’t working hard making her famous meatballs and tomato sauce, Miki was very fond of gardening, baking, sewing, bingo, slots, and classic movies. She was also known for her sassy sense of humour and her contagious laughter.
Miki is predeceased by her parents Pasquale & Carmela (Tringese) De Risi, husband Aniello and all her siblings (Maria, Aniello, Maddalena, Emilia, Santa, and Francesco). She is survived by her two children, three granddaughters and two great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday January 08 from 6pm to 8pm at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, Burnaby BC. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January, 9th at 11am at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, luncheon to follow. She will join her husband Aniello at Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, BC.
