Betty was born in Cornwall, Ontario. Predeceased by her husband Ernest in 2006. Survived by her daughter Lori (Ron) Posehn, grandchildren Christine, David and Michael, sisters Diane Buick and Gerri Layman, 2 nieces and 2 nephews, sisters-in-law Dianne Brown and Doreen Foley. A Celebration of Life to honor Betty will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 2nd at the Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, B.C. The family would like to sincerely thank the kind and caring staff at the Crossroads Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the B.C. Cancer Foundation.
