He is survived by his wife Teresa Aramini, and his children Silvia (Aneste), Robert, and Rosanna. He will be missed by his grandchildren Anna (Bill), Teresa (Dan), Luisa (Tom), Andrea (Joe), Stefano, and Paolo (Celeste). As well as his 11 great-grandchildren; Aneste, Kaia, Ella, Elias, Catiana, Tomas, Marco, Bodhi, Ezra, Julius, Amelia, and sweet Cataleya born sleeping.
Luigi was born in Cosenza, Italy on December 7th 1932 to Concetta and Giuseppe and had six brothers and three sisters. He immigrated to Canada by boat in 1955 and built his family with Teresa in the Kitsilano area of Vancouver.
A funeral is scheduled for October 24th at Oceanview Funeral Home. There will be a Viewing at 12:30pm, Mass at 1pm, Mausoleum entombment at 2:30pm with a coffee reception to follow.
Father Terry will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Luigi's life.
