Lai Hang "Jennie" Wong passed away peacefully on August 5th, 2024 age 110 at the Windermere Care Centre, Vancouver. Jennie was born in Hwangpu Island, Guangdong, China as the 12th of 15 siblings. She came to Canada in 1949 and lived her entire life in her beloved city of Vancouver
Jennie was predeceased by her husband Chew Foo "King" in 1992. She is survived by daughter Roberta, son Franklin (Nenita), and grandcats Theo and Yuki. Jennie was the best mom anyone could wish for and she will be terribly missed by all.

An urn committal for Jennie will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G 3M1
Anyone that would like to attend is welcome to meet at Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 2:45 PM and we will make our way to Jennie’s final resting place together. The Funeral Home is located in the middle of the cemetery, it is NOT the office on the top of Royal Oak and Canada Way.
