Kurt emigrated from Nuremburg, Germany in 1957 and settled in Montreal. There he met his wife and in 1964 they were married and moved to Vancouver to begin their life together. Kurt had a long career in the graphic arts industry beginning at Cleland-Kent and ending with Bowne of Canada, when he retired at the age of 58.
Kurt lived his life to the fullest and age did not slow him down as he continued to enjoy his favorite activities until the end; skiing, Ping-Pong, photography, gardening and most of all fishing at the family cabin at Lillooet Lake.
Kurt has been laid to rest next to his loving wife Marlene of 49 years, in the Chapel Courtyard at Ocean View Burial Park
