"After a lengthy illness, Jean Lim, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 at the Vancouver General Hospital on January 17, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband, Leong Choy Lim, on October 2, 1964. She sacrificed her entire life selflessly for the welfare of her two surviving sons, William and Gerald (Susan) Lim and one daughter, Lillian (George Hui) Lim. She found great joy in the close bond she shared with her granddaughters Audrey, Megan and Kathleen Hui in the last years of her life. Lillian and her daughters are so grateful to the good Lord for having given them so many loving memories with her - memories that will be deeply cherished for the rest of their lives."
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, in memory of Jean.
