There was a young man who was diagnosed with a terminal illness and been given a short time to live. When he was getting his things in order he called a Rabbi to his house to discuss his final wishes. He told him to play his favorite songs etc. When the Rabbi was about to leave the young man suddenly remembered something extremely important to him. "Theres one more thing" he said." "Whats that" asked the Rabbi This is most important the young man said. "I want to be buried with a fork in my hand." The Rabbi very puzzled asked why? The young man explained. My mother once told me this story as long as I can remember I try to pass this message onto those I love. When the dishes of the main course was cleared, someone would always say "keep your fork". It was my favorite part beause I knew something better was coming like black forrest cake etc. Something awesome and with substance. I want people to see me with the fork in my hand and ask why. and I want you to say. Keep your fork the best is yet to come. The Rabbi knew the young man had a better grasp of heaven then he did. He new something better was coming. The next time you reach for your fork, let it remind you, ever so gently that the best is yet to come. TD remember friends are a very special Jewel indeed. They make you smile. They lend an ear and always want to open their hearts to you. Remember to always be there for them. Even when you need them more. For you never know when it may be their time to "Keep your fork."Enjoy the time you have and the memories you share. And Keep your fork.

Im puzzled by your request said the Rabbi.The young man  explained "My mother once told me this story and from then on I have always tried to pass along its message to those i Love and to those who r in need of encouragement.In all my years of going to soocials and dinners, I always remember that when dishes of the main course was cleared away, someone would always say!Keep your fork!. It was my favorite part because I knew that the best was yet to come___ like black forrest cake or deep apple pie etc.Something wonerful and with substance! So I want  people there in the casket with my fork in my hand and ask "Whats with the fork"?Then I want u to tell them : Keep your fork the best is yet to come".The Rabbi new that the young man had a better grasp of what heaven was like .
