Gemine Taddei

Gemine passed away peacefully, at age 94 on January 27, 2025, surrounded by his adoring family.

He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 65 years (and five months), Luciana; his children, Rina Seccia (David), Elvio Taddei (deceased), and Sandro Taddei; daughters-in-law, Victoria Taddei and Rosa Taddei; grandchildren, Stefania Seccia (Sam Smith), Vanessa Taddei, Alessandra Taddei (Shane Carroll), Gemine Taddei (Alicen), and Luciana Taddei; two great-grandchildren, Max and Leon Seccia-Smith, who he adored; brother Vincenzo Taddei (Anna); and nieces and nephews in Italy and New York who treasured him.

Dad, you loved us with your whole heart. Thank you for always being there, your unwavering support, and unconditional love. We will take care of Mom.

Rest in peace. We’re ok.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00pm, on Tuesday February 4, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2025 Napier Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, and Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, Abbey Mausoleum. No flowers by request, donations in Gemine’s memory may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation, PO Box 8700 STN Terminal, Vancouver, BC V6B 9Z9
