Mr. Francesco Aiello

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and Nonno Francesco Aiello on May 31, 2023 at the age of 79. He is predeceased by his parents Michele and Maria; sister Carmelina (Mario) and brother in law Giulio. Francesco will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Pina of 54 years; children Carla (Frank) and Diego (Christine); cherished grandchildren Sebastian, Roman, Cruz, Dario, Giordano, Adriano and Vienna; brothers Giovanni (Gina), Antonio (Rosetta), Sesto (Maria); sisters Lina, Ernesta (Mario); brother in law Elio (Muriel); sister in law Vanda and nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was born January 20, 1944 in Altilia, Cosenza, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1964.

Francesco will be remembered as a strong, generous and kind man who had the ability to make others laugh with his sense of humour. Spending time with family and friends was a priority for him. As a lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and his treasured garden. He was blessed to travel back home to Italy several times making many memories with family and friends.

Francesco will be forever missed and forever loved.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC. Entombment to follow in the Grand Mausoleum at Ocean View Burial Park.
