Dear Eric,

It seems like it was yesterday that we spent hours talking about different things. You are dearly missed.

Eric, Happy Birthday!   I am very blessed and proud to be your wife.  You are a great husband and a great dad.  You are our precious everything.  I am blessed to be the one who walked with you and the one holding your hand til the last minute.  You left yourself and us with many good memories.  We will cherish all our precious moments together.  You and I both had the same goal.  We wanted each other to be happy.  We wanted our children to be happy and I will continue on with our goal, knowing that you will always support me.  Eric, you will always and forever be my most beloved husband.

Eric, you will be missed.  Our old VFAC men's small group was a great memory, as we occasionally share and pray for one another.

"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38

One of the earlier memories of my dear friend Eric was when he first met his lovely wife Anita. It was at an after school dance club/class type thing and this usually soft spoken, gentle soul suddenly was very outwardly and most obviously courting this lovely and perhaps timid woman on the dance floor. What happened afterwards seemed so natural - they were inseparable, eventually married and had two cutest kids. They always arrived together in different occasions - birthdays, weddings, and just, get togethers. And because of that, Anita had became our friend as well - and what a blessing that was!  

My other memory of him was Eric was a very caring person. In my down time, Eric would call me up, not Facebook, not text, but made sure we were talking and he would listen and offer advice but was never pushy or bossy. In this day and age this gesture seemed most unusual yet most genuine. He would have said, "that's what friends are for!"

I will miss you my friend Eric. And will keep you and Anita and the kids in my prayers. :) Rest in peace.

Eric, thanks for all unforgettable fun moment we spent together in our childhood. I always remember the moment that we were barked and chased by a dog at Cheung Chau, first time infected by computer viruses "michelangelo" and "stoned" from your floppy disk, playing monopoly with you and your family, and importantly teaching me computering that became my interest and career. Thanks again Eric!

It's been my pleasure to know you when my family-in-law and I came to Vancouver. Though we only met twice, your smiling face is so unforgettable and you are such a nice person. It was shocked receiving news about your departure. Rest in peace and may your children and family be blessed, strength and comfort be with them.

Rest in peace! I will take good care of your sister, parents and your family.

Eric, you will be missed!  It is my pleasure to know you, a special friend who has deep knowledge in Chinese history.  I still remember when we ride together after work at Jade Tours, when you wanted me to accompany you to buy Anita's Christmas gift, our gatherings and when we met on the bus after both of us switched to work in downtown.  No one got bored when you are present as you can always talk about different topics.  These will not happen anymore but they will be in my memory forever.  Rest in peace!

Eric, I have known you since you met Anita from dancing!  You are now in a peaceful and wonderful place with our Lord with no tears and pain! Although we all miss you dearly but we know you are in a much better place!  We had promised to support your family and grow with them together in our Lord! We will all see each other again in heaven!

Eric, I still remember the happy time with you in the Enoch fellowship small group  We studied God's words together and shared the joy. Too bad those good time was too short. But I know that you are now in a wonderful place, and we will meet in the future!

Eric, I hope you are resting in a much better, peaceful place.  I remember with lots of fond memories on the projects that we worked on together in university, the silly yet fun moments in the ballroom dancing lessons, seeing Anita and you getting married, meeting Godwin for the first time, your house parties & gatherings, etc etc.  You are leaving us too soon, but we will always remember you.  May God bless your family and kids, giving them strength and comfort.

Eric was an uncommonly dedicated person. The amount of attention and effort he put into his work was truly marvelous to behold. From Wall Street on the East Coast, to Microsoft on the West, I have never encountered his equal when it comes to commitment to achieving his project goals. His dedication was so great he often had to be encouraged to spend less time burning the midnight oil.

Eric was always willing to lend a hand and to learn something new. His mild manner and good disposition was always welcome. He even taught me how to eat chicken feet - but didn't tell me what they were until after I ate them. (Smart man!)

Eric will be missed. I feel fortunate to have known him. My deepest condolences to Anita and Godwin & Harmony.

It was a shock receiving the news of your departure.  Farewell Eric!  As a Christian, I believe you are in a much better place now.  May you rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord.

Those silly days in school and in Whistler are still vivid; your smiley face and gentleness will always be remembered. Though we are apart today, we will reunion in the embrace of the Heavenly Father some day. May the Lord bless and comfort your family with His love, peace and faithfulness.

Eric, still remember our good old days in fellowship; your warm welcome during my visit in Vacouver; your happy face when introducing Anita to us during a reunion....thank you for your kindness, your wisdom, your gentle and caring.
It is sad that you have left us but knowing you are in heaven with God, a place filled with Joy.

It's really shocked when I know the sad news. Eric is a very kind person. I still remember the time we spent in Vancouver, visited Whistler mountain, every laugh and happy moments we had with Eric and his family. May God keep his family peaceful.
