Emilia Mafalda Bevacqua

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother Emilia Mafalda Bevacqua, on September 23rd 2024 at the age of 94. Emilia was born on August 15th 1930 in Grimaldi, Cosenza, Italy. She immigrated to Canada with her 2 children Emilio and Maria to join her husband Carmine . She was predeceased by her beloved husband in 2004.

Emilia leaves behind her 2 children Emilio (Katy) and Maria, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. But her spirit will live on in our hearts with the many great memories and stories we are left to share with one another.

Though we are extremely saddened we find comfort knowing that she is reunited with her beloved husband Carmine whom she has missed immensely for the last 20 years.

Prayers will be held at Our Lady Of Sorrows church 555 Slocan Street Vancouver, BC on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024 at 5pm

Funeral service will also be held at Our Lady Of Sorrows on Friday, October 4th, 2024 at 1pm. Entombment will follow in the South Mausoleum at Oceanview Funeral Home & Burial Park located at 4000, Imperial Street, Burnaby BC
