It is with a torn heart that the Reilly Clan announces the peaceful passing of Elizabeth (Betsy) Reilly (Hurst) on May 11, 2021. She struggled deeply with her health for the past 11 years and can finally be reunited with her Mom (Beth), Father (Eugene) and Brother (Bradley) in Heaven. She is survived by her loving husband Donald, their two children and their families; Ashley (& Jason), Scarlett Elizabeth, Axl Edwin and Shayne (& Taal).
Betsy was well known for her magnetic personality and love of fine wine and food. An extra place setting was always laid out for Sunday dinners because feeding those she loved brought her the most joy.
Prior to her decline in health she worked tirelessly for the Canadian Red Cross and the BC Centre for Disease Control in their work on Tuberculosis and HIV.
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions a funeral has not been planned. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
