Born and raised in Truro, NS, Beth was a teacher and involved in education for all of her professional life.
Beth was an early proponent of using the arts in education, promoting dance and puppetry as experiences to enrich students’ lives. She loved to entertain at home and travel abroad and did both often.
She died peacefully at home with her family, supported by the staff at the Windermere Care Centre.
She is survived by her sister Jean, niece Miriam and nephews, David, Gary, Gregor, George and Gordon.
A memorial celebration of life will be held at the Windermere, 900 West 12th Avenue, on Saturday 13 October at 2:00pm.
