Edna passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, B.C. with family at her side. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, Patrick, who passed away in 2011. Edna will be greatly missed by her family; sons Ken (Carol), Ron (Gail); grandsons Patrick (Susie), Kevin (Deanna) and Glen (Jan); great granddaughters, Katie, Meagan and Nicole; great grandsons Kasey and Jesse-Lee, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom had a successful career at B.C. Hydro and made life-long friendships there. There were many enjoyable times spent at their home in Vancouver, cabin at Point Roberts, and in later years at Pacifica Retirement Residence in South Surrey. She was pre-deceased by her parents; Norman and Margaret Hilton and sister Audrey of Vancouver, B.C. Along with her Mom and sister, Edna was a lifetime member of Friendship and Beulah Rebekah Lodge.
A funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 3789 Royal Oak Avenue in Burnaby at 1:30 p.m. on September 24, 2015.
