Dennis was a polymath and adventurer. Having learned the world through study and personal experience. He had loved spending his time reading and learning, having achieved a a MSc degree, Law degree, and an MBA.
Dennis has always challenged himself, and during his travels he passed away in Romania. In the location of his passing, there is a marker commemorating his adventurous spirit which reads:
“A passionate mountaineer, expert skier, marathon runner, agile climber, Dennis traveled across the sea to summit a new peak in the Romanian National Parks. Never afraid of challenges and always inspired by new things to perfect, Dennis lived a life of awe, wonder, and amazement. Forever surrounded by wilderness.”
Dennis will be forever missed by his loving family. His father, Ted, his mother, Fei, his brother, Derrick (Shirley), his partner, Helen, his nieces, Liza & Audrey, and many cousins, uncles, aunts, family members, and friends. Dennis’s yearning for adventure and knowledge will continue on through all who knew him.
A public viewing for Dennis will be on Friday, May 17⋅5:30 – 6:30pm, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G 3M1, Canada. Friends who would like to spend time with Dennis are welcome to attend to say their farewells.
A funeral service for Dennis will be on Saturday, May 18⋅10:00 – 11:30am, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G 3M1, Canada. This will be the formal ceremony, and the final chance to pay your respects to Dennis.
Following the funeral service will be a private cremation ceremony for the family, friends are invited to join the family for the reception after the service located at The Summit Room, at Seasons in The Park Restaurant located in Queen Elizabeth Park. The reception will be open invitation from 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Please contact Derrick if more information is needed.
