David John Pearson

With great sadness we announce that Dave passed away at the Palliative Care Unit of Burnaby General Hospital on June 25th after a long battle with cancer. Dave will be forever loved and missed by his wife Louise, son Michael, daughter Jeanne (Jason) and grandchildren Jayden, Liam, Emily and Ethan. Dave had numerous friends, some from as long ago as high school, and many whom he met during his years in automotive parts sales and through his lifetime interest in customized cars. He very recently retired from Jim Pattison Chrysler, the last automotive sales position he held in a career in the auto industry that spanned his entire working life. Dave loved cars, he loved car people, and he loved his red 38 Chev most of all. Dave was always quick with a joke and a smile – his good humour and wit will always be remembered by all who knew and loved him. He would like nothing better than for you to raise a glass in his memory. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 1pm on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Operating Engineers Hall, 4333 Ledger Avenue, Burnaby, B.C.
