It is with great sadness we announce Chiara has passed away peacefully after a long battle of 17 years with cancer on February 17, 2018 in Burnaby General Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Chiara is predeceased by her parents Nicola & Maria Belmondo & her husband Giuseppe Zen. Chiara is survived and will always be remembered by her loving children Rosemary, Beatrice, Giovanni (Linda), her grandchildren Joseph, Dante and Olivia, her sisters in Italy Lina (Ferdinande) Perri & Emilia Sacco, her brother Tony (Giovanna) Belmondo, her sister-in-law Giovanna (Carlo) Bosa, her nieces & nephews in Vancouver, BC & Italy.
Funeral will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday March 7, 2018 at Saint Helen's Catholic Church, 3860 Triumph Street, Burnaby, BC. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Cemetery, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations in her memory be made to the Canadian Cancer Society for Breast Cancer.
