It is with profound sadness that the family of Carmine Pucci announces his passing on January 29, 2019 at the age of 79 years, after a year-long battle with cancer. Carmine will be greatly missed by his wife Erika Maria (nee Endres) after almost 57 years of marriage; his daughter Maria, son Raffaele (Vittoria), and daughter Ilva (Deni); grandchildren Giovanni (Nikki), Rosa (Gus), Elyshia, Nicco, Juliana, Donato (Daniella), and Vanessa (Connor); great grandchildren Trinity, Mia, Athena, and Demitris. Carmine is also survived by his sister Mafalda (Gino, deceased), brother Guiseppe (Theresa), and numerous nephews and one niece, as well as many great nephews and nieces. Carmine was born on August 11, 1939, on the family farm in the Town of Aiello, Calabro, in the Province of Cosenza Italy, and is predeceased by his father Raffaele and his mother Luise Maria (nee Longo). A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at 7pm, at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, 1320 Johnson Street (at Delahaye Drive), Coquitlam, BC. A funeral will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at 11am, at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, followed by a reception in the Parish hall, and after that by entombment at Ocean View Cemetery at 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC at the South Mausoleum. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
