It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Bonaventure “Bon” Nicholas D’Sa passed away on August 19, 2023 at the age of 66, surrounded by loved ones. Bon was born on June 23, 1957 to Lawrence and Isabel D’Sa in Nairobi, Kenya. With his family, he immigrated to Canada in 1974, where they resided in Vancouver.
Bon worked various jobs, but found his true calling in finance. In his free time he enjoyed training at the gym, attending dance lessons, and spending time at his campsite with family and friends. He will be fondly remembered for his generosity and for being the life of the party, and will be greatly missed.
He is predeceased by his father and mother. He is survived by his daughters Alison (Shoaib) and Rachel, his siblings Joseph (Geri), Apolonia, Anthony, Louis (Jennifer), Christine (Victor), and Maria (Richard) as well as Lore and his nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at our Lady of Sorrows Parish 555 Slocan St. Vancouver, Friday, June 21, 2024 at 1:00pm.
The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Diabetes Canada or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
