September 26, 1926 - February 24, 2015
With deep sadness, but peaceful hearts, we announce the passing of our dearly loved mother and nana on February 24. She is now together with her devoted husband of 66 years, Andrew, who passed 12 days before her. Anne was born in the Ukraine and immigrated to Canada at the age of 3. She grew up in Saskatoon and moved to Vancouver where she married the love of her life and raised a family. Predeceased by her sons Michael and Robert, she will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Joan, Karen (Don), Linda (Gary), Andrea (Ross), daughter-in-law Lucy, grandchildren Kendra, Gina, Taylore, Keaton, Marina, Drew, Joshua, Colton, and her sisters and brothers and their families. Anne was dedicated to loving and caring for her family. Her warm and open nature drew people to her throughout her life especially during her career at Eaton's. Her gentle spirit endured through her illness with Alzheimer's disease. A memorial service will be held at Ocean View Chapel on April 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer Society.
