Anna Clark, affectionately known as Anne Clark (née Shapitka), was born on May 12, 1935, on the family farm in Gronlid, Saskatchewan, to Ukrainian immigrant parents Aksenty Shapitka and Petrunella Shapitka. Her adventurous and curious nature led her to embark on a remarkable journey that eventually brought her to Chilliwack, British Columbia, when she was a child.
From a young age, Anne possessed a creative spirit and an inquisitive mind. Her relentless curiosity and inventive nature led her to conceive and develop numerous inventions, some of which were even patented. Her relentless pursuit of knowledge and innovation was a testament to her tenacity and vibrant spirit.
As Anne's journey unfolded, she found her calling in the world of real estate. With her determination and passion, she obtained her real estate license, a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit. For many years, she dedicated herself to the business, connecting families with homes and creating lasting memories for countless individuals.
Even at the age of 75, when she experienced her first stroke, Anne refused to let adversity dim her light. Her positive spirit and unwavering determination continued to shine through as she embraced life's challenges with grace and resilience. Surrounded by her cherished children and grandchildren, Anne found her greatest joy and contentment.
Sadly, Anne faced another significant stroke, and she peacefully passed away in Lions Gate Hospital. Her legacy lives on through her five children: Rodney, Terry, Gary, Kelly, and Danny. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish the love and wisdom she shared.
