It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful wife, mother, Nonna and friend. Anna passed away on July 27, 2019 surrounded by her family. She is survived by the love of her life, husband of 53 years, Angelo; three daughters Nica (Rob), Cathy (Ryan) and Pina (Dinis) and six beautiful grandchildren Isabella, Daniella, Ava, Anthony, Amelia and Sofia. Anna came to Canada in 1966 and through the years created a beautiful family that was her primary focus in life. Predeceased by her parents Vitantonio and Caterina. and sister Tonia. Survived by brother Vito and sisters in Italy; Chella, Angela and Mery.
Anna was a joyful, kind-hearted, loving person who cared deeply about her family. She will always be remembered for her love of people; she touched so many with her kindness and caring heart. She will be immensely missed by her family, friends and community. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2025 Napier Street. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the B.C. Cancer Foundation, VGH Palliative Care Unit or Saint Anthony of Padua Mission Aid.
