He attended San Jose State University, where he met his college sweetheart Kathleen. They shared 48 wonderful years together, creating a beautiful life and family with 3 children in Burbank, CA.
He went around the world as a corporate pilot, visiting what felt like every country possible. He always had detailed stories to share, that ranged from unbelievable to hilarious and everything in between. He had a way with words, and he loved talking to anyone as much as they loved talking to him.
His second career was location manager for locally filmed tv shows and movies. He took pride in making sure every location was left better than they found it, and enjoyed everyone he got to meet through this job.
He was a collector of useful items and tools, and was always happy to help anyone with a project, no matter how big or small. His kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He taught everyone to enjoy every moment life has to offer, and personally enjoyed hobbies throughout his life, including surfing, racing, working on cars (including racecar #44), and building cool things.
Thomas is survived by his wife Kathleen Mary Neal, his children Timothy Neal (and wife Jessica), Jennifer Morse (and husband Robert), and Jeffrey Neal, and his granddog Maximus. He was predeceased by his sister, Nancy Ann Van Hamme.
