I want to express my appreciation to Mike O’Gara for his community advocacy. I first met Mike O’Gara when my mother took me to the Sun Valley Area Neighborhood Council meeting when I was younger. At the time I never thought that I would join the Neighborhood Council. I heard good things about Mike O’Gara from longtime San Fernando Valley leaders like Glenn Bailey. When I joined the Sun Valley Area Neighborhood Council, I wanted to continue on building Mike O’Gara’s legacy to our community. He was a leader and will be missed.
