Mrs. Feeney was my first grade teacher in 1987 when I came to this country. I went to Sharp elementary and she was a sweet loving teacher. I had the honor of having her as a teacher.
I also met her husband and daughter years later when I was working at savon drugs in Burbank.  
You will be missed. You left your print in my heart.  Thank you.

I've never realized until I became older that it wasn't normal to spend so much time at your bestfriend's house. But that's what I did. Pamela, Kandra and I were inseparable, they became my sisters and their family became my family. Lissette and Rick always welcomed me into their home with open arms, and allowed me to stay as long as I wanted. They even had a present from Santa waiting for me under their tree during Christmas. They loved me like their own and I will never forget that. Thank you Lissette for letting me be apart of your family.

I am so blessed to have had those happy memories of working with Lissette at Sharp Avenue when I first became a teacher. She was so patient and helpful to me in understanding all the necessary tools it took to embrace teaching and to enjoy it every day. Every morning her lovely smile would greet me with a heartfelt good morning as we passed on the walkways of the school. Her kind and uplifting demeanor would continue throughout the day always lending a helping hand whenever and wherever needed. Lissette was a total life savior to me when she took the time and found me a new teaching position at another school when I got displaced and felt so distraught. That was Lissette...always thinking of others. Her joy and spirit for living life to it's fullest and looking at the glass half full was contagoius! I will continue the remembrance of her smile and zest by blessing others with mine.

Always with a smile, lending a helping hand or word of encouragement or a tasty treat, I remember Lissette at Halloween welcoming our boys, all dressed up in their homemade costumes.  She was a generous and giving person and with us too short a time.  I am glad we knew her and I know how much her family will miss her.

To Rick, from so many lovely condolences from her friends Lissette sounds like a wonderful woman.  I only knew her as the wife of my cousin.  So sorry to hear of her passing.

Lissi: we will always remember her fondly and feel blessed that we had the honor of knowing her . Loving Lissi, she always had a smile for everyone and gave unconditional love to others. Laci and I are deeply saddened by her passing.  She will be missed greatly.

Lissette was such a loving and caring person to her friends and family, and also to her co-workers and her students. We live in Arizona and did not have the chance to get to know her, but she has been my cousin Ricks loving wife for many years. She will leave a big empty space in the lives of those who loved her. I worked with Mrs. Feeney at Coughlin Elementary and enjoyed our conversations in those rare times we shared a lunchtime. However, my most cherished memory of her is that she was my daughter's first teacher. My daughter, Mariana, loved her so much. Mrs.Feeney knew everything, according to my daughter. I would joke with Mrs.Feeney that at home if Mrs. Feeney didn't say so then it wasn't so. I liked that my daughter loved her in that sense. I wished for her first school experience to be positive and Mrs.Feeney made that come true. Even with summer vacation in full swing, my daughter still talks about Mrs.Feeney. My daughter was one of her students in this last class she taught.
Thank you Mrs. Feeney for teaching her how to read and for being the teacher she won't forget. You will be missed. Rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of working at Coughlin El. with Mrs. Feeney. She always had a smile and a greeting. My best memories of her is when she'd bring her momma on campus and proudly introduce her to everybody.

As I looked over the photos of Lissette growing up, I saw joy and compassion in her eyes. Early on as a young woman she became a devoted teacher to many children who simply returned these gifts back to her in their smiles and happy voices.
As a loving wife to my brother, as a devoted daughter and mother, and supportive sister, she made sure that all in the family were happy and taken care of.
We will now continue this legacy of giving joy and compassion to our loved ones, friends and family alike, on her behalf.  We will never forget you, Lissette.

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Feeney at Sara Coughlin. She was always smiling and greeting us with a Hello or Goodmorning. I will miss you Mrs. Feeney. May you rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

She was an awesome teacher. Always with a smile on her face...it was a pleasure to work with her. I will miss her dearly.

We did not have the pleasure of meeting Ms. Feeney but we did get to know and come to love her daughter Pammy. If Pam is any indication of the mother she grew up with,  we feel truly sad to have lost such a bright and kind spirit. We pray for the family and offer our support and prayers in this difficult time.  May she rest easy with our Lord now.
