Harlos Duane Shrock, age 87, of Burbank, California passed away at home Tuesday evening, April 9, 2024. He was born in Salem, Oregon on October 20, 1936 to his parents Clarence R. Shrock, and Violet A. Sanders-Shrock. An interior- plantscaper by trade, Harlos was a lifelong gardening enthusiast and grew orchids and exotic plants in greenhouses. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Hulda Frances Reinke-Shrock, their only son, Lyle Shrock, (married to Elizabeth) with three grandchildren: Jennifer, Sarah (married to Andrew Rosenthal), and Kevin, and one great grandchild: Oliver.
A celebration of life memorial for Harlos will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Valley Funeral Home, 2121 W. Burbank Blvd., Burbank, CA 91506.
