Our beloved Esperanza, 
When I first met you I was nothing but a young girl learning my way in life.  I remember coming to visit you with Raquel and you welcomed me into your home. Come in ! come in  sit down.! With such joy in your voice. Just like  that you opened your home to me. What a loving soul 💖 

 As I sit here now a grown woman I will always remember all the times you shared a part of you with me. Making us the amazing refried beans, flan for the holiday,  salsas for days!  How luck I am to have had you in my life.  

Remember that dominoes game! Did you cheat? Lol que escandalo. We had so much fun that night you out drink me with that tequila.  Like a pro. I can't thank you enough for giving me one of the best gifts in life. My best friend .  I promise to always look after her. Thank you thank you for everything.  I love you and will  never forget you as an amazing strong woman. 


Even though we only knew Esperanza as a neighbor for a short amount of time, she has left a lasting impact on us. Her generosity came out the first time we ever talked, when she invited us over and gave us fruit from her trees to make us feel welcome. Every day after that, we would talk about life, our families, and the plants in our yards. She would always offer to give us some, and once (despite my refusal) she actually went around pulling plants out of the ground and handing them to me until my arms were overflowing! We would talk about when COVID was over how she would invite us in and show us all her records and we could dance and drink together. She made us feel so welcome and her generosity, kindness, and care will live with us forever. 

Doña. Esperanza like our family called her, was a very nice, and funny person, there was no silence when she was around . We will always remember her and will keep her in our hearts forever.  

So many to tell......she’s always been unique and so special to me. 
Mama Espy made such a huge impact on many of us. You’ll always be with us..... Love 💕 you eternally. 

As long as I can remember you and your beautiful family have always welcomed me and my family into your lives.. You knew me since my adolescent days, which meant Rachel and I were out doing teenager things!! Hehehe... I apologize to you for the late night headaches while Rachel and I were out late. We were kids trying to figure out this thing called life.. Thank you for the dinners that you would share with me.. Pollito con arroz was my favorite. I want you to know how beautiful and strong your girls are and how you shouldn’t worry about them. You did a great job in raising them. I’m really sorry for your loss girls... May you always remember how strong your momma was and remember the good old times you shared with her. Your mom had a funny sense of humor and her face would glow when she laughed.. That’s something to be very proud of. May you Rest In Peace and enjoy paradise Esperanza Garcia..
