Donna was one of 3 children born to Berry & Rose Thompson in East Brunswick NJ. She attended public school and graduated from East Brunswick High School and The Cittone Institute.
It was her lifelong dream to live in California and work in Entertainment. In 1996, Donna and her husband Scott moved to Burbank California so she could work at The Walt Disney Company. She bought a home near the Disney Studio lot in Burbank where she could visit her beloved Bichon-Frises during lunch-time.
Donna's life was too short but those who were touched by her understand that the quality of her existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which she lived. If Donna were here to speak to us she would remind each of us to be patient with each other, laugh everyday and to be kind to animals.
Donna is survived by her mother and father, Rose and Berry Thompson, sister Linda Eagen, brother Barry Thompson, nieces Nicole and Courtney. She also leaves behind husband Scott as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and hundreds of close friends who are mourning her sudden loss.
Donations can be made to the ASPCA Memorial Fund c/o Donna Knode or the Animal Welfare Charity of your choice.
