Louis Francis Shoemaker

Louis is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Lorie Shoemaker and dedicated children, Pamela (Nicholas) Menotti, Paul (Tina) Shoemaker, Marc (Amy) Shoemaker, Matthew (Kristin) Rybak and Jerry (Ashley) Rybak. He adored his 10 grandchildren, Kaylee, Melia, Lilly, Roman, Shayna, Guy, Jackson, Shiloh, Eden and Gavin.

Louis was a devoted husband and proud Navy Veteran. He obtained his Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Economics from California State University Long Beach and Fullerton respectively. Louis was a former executive of Pure-Grow Company (a subsidiary of Union Oil) and Nissan Design International.

Louis was an avid reader with a passion for business, history, gardening, cooking and he cherished spending time with his family.

A private service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, San Marcos, California. The family invites you to the Celebration of Louis’ Life on April 11, 2023 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Rancho Bernardo Inn (17550 Bernardo Oaks Drive, San Diego, California 92128 - Valencia Lawn).

In lieu of flowers, should you choose to do so, the family respectfully requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
