Lenore Anne Reagle Carlson
5/22/1947 to 6/19/2020
Lenore Anne Reagle Carlson passed away Friday June 19, 2020 from lung cancer at her home in Bullhead City, Arizona. Lenore was born May 22, 1947 in Salmon, Idaho to Leonard and Chris Reagle.
She was raised on the family ranch on Sandy Creek in Lemhi County. She went to the Sandy Creek School through 5th grade. When the school house was closed, she attended the Salmon Schools and graduated from there in 1965. She was active in Pep Band, 4-H and was a member of a dance band. There was nothing she could not do if she set her mind to it.
After graduation she married Dennis Mechling and to that union had four children: Michelle Anne, Troy Phelan, Leonard Raymond and Christopher Daniel. During this time they lived in Pocatello, Ogden, Utah, Idaho Falls and Rigby. They later divorced.
In 1988 she married Marlin Carlson. They lived in the Rexburg area while they both worked at Diet Center. They moved to the Island Park area where the two of them built a beautiful home while Marlin was working for the County Road Department and Lenore managed the Sawtell Motel. Lenore rode a snowmobile everyday of the winter. She also volunteered as an EMT and ambulance driver.
From Island Park they moved to St. Anthony, where Lenore eventually retired from Parker Inc. After retirement, they moved to the Idaho Falls area.
In early 2018 they sold their Idaho Falls home and transitioned to fulltime RVers. They began their journey at Heise Hot Springs where they spent most of their days either golfing or swimming.
In the late Fall of 2018, they ended up in Phoenix, Arizona. While in Phoenix, Marlin, Lenore and Lenore's sister Kathy made several trips to Mexico making lots of happy memories...
While in Phoenix, they determined that gypsy living was not for them. They bought a house in Bullhead City, Arizona next door to their longtime friends, Butch and Diane Widerburg.
It was in the Fall of 2019 that Lenore was diagnosed with lung cancer. She continued to live her life to the fullest, dragging Marlin, Butch and Diane to the casinos under the guise of discounted breakfasts and because they were there, they might as well put a few bucks in the machines!
If you were a friend of Lenore's, you were a friend for life. She will be missed by countless people who will look back on their friendships and smile.
Lenore was proceeded in death by her parents, Leonard and Chris Reagle, son, Troy Mechling, brother, Bob Reagle, sister, Christina Reagle and one great grandchild Wyatt.
She is survived by her husband, Marlin, daughter, Michelle, son, Leonard (Angie) and son, Christopher. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, her sister Kathy (Jim) McDonald of Salmon, brother, John (Mary) Reagle of Ketchum, and brother, Dan (Carol) Reagle of Boise.
