Sidney Joe Walker

Sidney Joe Walker, 73, of Bryan, passed away July 6, 2016 at his residence in Bryan. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Saturday, July 9th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 10th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Kurten Cemetery.

Mr. Walker was born July 9, 1942 in Forreston, Texas, the son of Walter Eldridge and Lucille Sims Walker. His greatest joy was family and he was an avid outdoorsman with fall being his favorite time of the year for both hunting and fishing. Mr. Walker was a business owner and always was a good provider for his family.

He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Charlotte Restmeyer Walker; his parents and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife Brenda West Walker; children, Darrell Walker, Rodney Walker & his wife Abigail, Kevin Walker, Alisha Wright & her husband Jeff, Tonya Goodman, and Larry Goodman; thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.
