Sherlean Lynette Jones

Sherlean (White) Jones, of Lane, OK, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2024 in Bryan, Texas. She was 72. Born January 06, 1952 in Atoka, OK to George Alford and Jane (Reeves) White, Sherlean graduated Atoka High School. In 1977 she moved to Bryan, Texas where she and her husband ran a successful Midas Muffler franchise for many years.

Sherlean was preceded in death by her parents George and Jane; brother Mark White, sisters Sharon White, Sedalia (White) Shields and Susie White, and her beloved husband of 47 years, Elvis Allen Jones (1941-2021).

Survivors include her sister Sandy (White) Hallmark; son Kevin White and wife Pam of Bryan, Texas; grandchildren Krystn (White) Locke, Kevin White, Jr., Kori White, Doug Anderson (and wife Brandi), and Tregan Ludkte; great-grandchildren Laila McGee, Riley Locke, Kenzie Anderson and Jaxon Ludkte; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to Sherlean’s caregivers over the last several months. Childhood friend Vicki McDaniel, and especially to Kori White for her selfless devotion to her grandmother, allowing Sherlean to spend the last several months in the place she loved the most - at her home in Lane, Oklahoma.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
