Robert L. Kohl

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m. in Martins Prairie Cemetery in Keith. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-7 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

Robert was born December 26, 1939 in Oakdale, Nebraska to Daniel Herman Richard and Helen Phyllis (Forbes) Kohl. He proudly served his country by serving in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam. He later moved to Louisiana and began work as a firefighter with the Lafayette Fire Department. He then moved to Texas to be near his mother. Robert had a very special talent in woodwork. He loved bird watching and listening to gospel music.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Milo Dean Kohl.

He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Raack Kohl; twin brother, Don Kohl; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bill Finley; two sisters-in-law, Mary Timm and Betty Nall; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
