Mary Elizabeth (Seigler) Greig passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2022. A graveside service will be held at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Bryan, Texas on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 10:30am.
Mary was raised in Navasota, Texas. She was the eldest daughter of Marvin and Lera Seigler’s seven children. As a young woman, she enjoyed riding horses and relished playing her clarinet in the high school band. Mary was a talented seamstress and enjoyed decorating and renovating her home.
She married Fred Greig on October of 27, 1956. They recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. Fred and Mary were blessed with five children.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Lera Seigler, brother, John Seigler, son-in-law, Stephen Pearce and grandson, Joshua Gray.
Mary is survived by her husband, Fred Greig; her children, Deborah Windham (Don), Rhonda Pearce, Gary Greig, Michael Greig (Jana), and Andrew Greig (Gina); her grandchildren, Charissa Siegert, Ashley Golsan (Jody), Elizabeth Greig, and Allen Greig; her great grandchildren, Brandon Blakemore and Elouise Golsan. She is also survived by her sisters, Joan Boren, Betty Liebham, Joyce Grinnell, Kathleen Hensley; her brother, Thomas Seigler; and her sister-in-law, Judy Seigler. As well as numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
