Linda Diane Perry, 56, of Bryan, passed away after a 6-year long battle with cancer on Saturday, April 28, at her home. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Linda was born December 29, 1955 in St. Joseph, MO to Wesley Grable and Darlene Caldwell. She worked for GTE for 18 years and worked 12 years as an administrative assistant to the dean of Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. She loved to needlepoint, crochet, gardening and most of all cooking for and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and will be missed by numerous family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother; brother Allen Leroy Grable.
Survivors include her husband Lawrence Perry of Bryan; son Carl Richard Perry of Bryan; friend Kelli Perry of Bryan; son Jarrid Jason and wife Michelle Perry of Huntsville; daughter Trinity Lynn and husband Nicholas Grossman of College Park, MD; grandchildren Haley Perry, Jackie Burton Perry II, and Skyler Marine Perry all of Bryan; Emma Kay Perry, Addison Perry, and Colby Jason Perry all of Huntsville; Aramay Isabella Grossman, Thaerisyn Quinn Grossman, and Ian Kaleb Grossman all of College Park, MD; father Wesley B. Gable of St. Joseph MO; sister Gail Stafford of Bryan; brothers David Bussell and Kenney Bussell of Springfield, MO; and mother-in-law Jeannie Goetz of Bryan.
