Kahlayah Gail Collins

Kahlayah was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Solon Sr. and Gethel Bailey, maternal grandparents John and Rachel Brewer, and her infant niece, Samantha Rasco.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 20 years, Roy Collins, and their two daughters, Addison Rachel (17) and Madelyn Kahlayah (10). Kahlayah was the cherished daughter of Solon and Carolyn Bailey, and a loving sister to Kathryn Wood (Chris), Kimberly Tramel (Billy), and Kristina Rasco (Calvin).

She is also survived by her parents-in-law, Roy and Barbara Collins, sister-in-law Stacy Davis (Donald), brother-in-law Ronnie Collins (Amanda), and brother-in-law Troy Collins, twin to her husband (Aimee).

Kahlayah leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, including Nikki Wirth, Cody Collins, Tessa Scasta (Trevor), Trevor Wood, Kendall Tramel (fiancé Cody Mayo), Shawn Rasco, Alyssa Wood, Bailey Rasco, Haydon Davis, and Emily Collins, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and many cherished friends.

Kahlayah dedicated over 15 years of her career to being a talented hairstylist, and in the last three years, she found joy and fulfillment as an optician at Eye Trends, where she felt like part of a family. Known for her love of bling, constant hair color changes, and signature sky-high heels, Kahlayah was a vibrant spirit whose beautiful smile and infectious laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

At Kahlayah’s celebration of life, family and friends are invited to honor her memory by wearing emerald green, her favorite color.
