I’m James Floyd Bynum’s youngest daughter. I was not prepared for how I would feel once he died. I spent the last five years feeling relieved by not having him in my life any longer. I was once very close to my father. One might say I “chose” him over my mother. I lived with him instead of my own mom for reasons unknown to anyone. There I grew up under his “care” and “support”.  The little town of Byers, TX. It was just me and him for a long time. I would say I likely knew him better than any of my other siblings. The past five years I have grieved his loss. The loss of my father. The one I know best. So even though he didn’t ask for it, I forgave him. I wanted him to have peace. I hope the rest of my family feels peace too. Even if I can’t be part of it;
