The Lord called Gary Lynn Manthei home Wednesday, January 15th 2015. Gary has left his mark across Bryan and College Station with his signs and artwork, which are beloved by all who knew him and his craft. He painted the lives of all those he met with the joy and genuine passion for God that drove him. He was an honest, open, and loving man who yearned to share the wisdom of God's word with everyone. He lived for his wife and family with joy and happiness and was true to his calling; he turned strangers into friends, and friends into family. Gary enjoyed and appreciated God's beauty in nature more than most, and he loved serving his community through Boy Scouts and his church. He was truly a man after God's own heart, and while his family mourns, they are comforted knowing that he is with his Lord.
He was born in Bryan, Texas on August 29th, 1956 to Ann and Kurt Manthei, and Graduated from Texas A&M University. He is preceded in death by his parents Ann Rychlik Rogers and Kurt Manthei.
