Evelyn Cooper

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday October 11 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Bryan. Interment will be 3:00 p.m. at Clear Creek Cemetery in Flynn. Visitation will be held from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

Evelyn was born August 1, 1923 in Houston the daughter of Albert Eugene and Gertrude Estelle (Dewberry) Thompson. She was actively involved in her church.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Albert Eugene Thompson Jr.

She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Elizabeth Pullen and Barbara Jean Thompson Conley; son, Allen Edward Marberry; grandchildren, Michael B. Marberry, David A. Marberry and Kathy C. Marberry; numerous great-grandchildren and three generations of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Lampstand Health and Rehab, and the staff at Hospice Brazos Valley for the care that was given to Evelyn.
