Charles W. Andrus Sr.

Charles was born September 25, 1940 in Brazos County to John Reed and Anna Lou(Miller) Andrus. He graduated from SFA High School in Bryan and attended Texas A & M. He travelled the world as an ocean engineer in the oil and gas industry. When he retired, he moved home to care for his parents. As a youngster, he always seemed to be into something. He raced cars, speed skated, picked the guitar and could fix just about anything.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister and two brothers. He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Debbie and Bert Lindquist of Arlington; his daughter, Brenda Andrus of Bryan; his son, Charles W Andrus Jr of College Station; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Mary Andrus of Cypress; grandchildren: Justin Towslee, Joseph Apperson, Carmen Lindquist, Megan Pearson, Joshua Pearson, Amanda Andrus, Gunnar Andrus, Faith Andrus, Emily Andrus and Taylor Andrus; 8 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
