Arthur "Flaco" Moreno

Visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm with a 7:00 pm rosary Friday, March 28 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Saturday, March 29 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.

Flaco was born January 13, 1930 in Cameron, Texas the son of Thomas Moreno Sr. and Facunda (Casares) Moreno.

Flaco is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Frank Moreno and Steve Moreno; brothers, Antonio Moreno, Tommy Moreno Jr. and Pete Moreno; sisters, Trinidad (Moreno) Sauceda, Mary (Moreno) Baldobino, Victoria (Moreno) Cruz and Rose (Moreno) Bernal; and a grandson, Francisco Moreno.

He is survived by three daughters, Yolanda Ramirez and Louis Jara, Diane Asher and Michael “Coach” Smallwood, Anna Marie Sauceda; two granddaughters, Brianna Lee and fiancé Ronald Franco, Jordan Ramirez Razo and husband Ismael Razo; one great-grandson, Sebastian Luis Razo; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loved ones.

Pallbearers will be, Ismael Razo, Luis Enrique Razo, Ronald Franco, Louis Jara, Jr., Cody Garcia, Timothy Garcia, and Patrick Moreno.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Blue Bonnet Hospice, especially Marcel, Socrates, Sarah and Nancy. Also, thank you to the caregivers at Legacy Rehab, especially Ian, Landon and Leighann. Special thanks to Debbie and Ray Hightower who were always there for our Dad.
