William Joseph Maulden

William Joseph Maulden, 68, of Twin City, GA passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Emanuel Medical Center. Graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at St. Andrews Cemetery, Darien, GA. with Reverend Tommy Whaley officiating. Serving pallbearers will be Joe, Ike, and Johnny Maulden, Rick Caldwell, Adam Thomas and Richey Ryals.

Family will be receiving friends at Mr. Maulden’s daughter Lisa Walter residence in Darien, GA, Monday, September 7, 2015 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Mr. Maulden is a native of Brunswick, GA, born May 31, 1947, to the late Joseph Edward Maulden and Agnes Davis Maulden. He had lived most of his life in Darien, Ga., attended Darien High School. Mr. Maulden had been a resident of Twin City, Ga., since 2006, and was a self – employed carpenter, enjoying spending time with his family and fishing.

In addition to Mr. Maulden’s parents he is preceded in death by his wife Judith M. Maulden; four brothers Ike, Clarence, Lloyd, and Earl Maulden, and a sister- in – law Linda Maulden.

Mr. Maulden is survived by two daughters Lisa Walter (Lynn) of Darien, GA, and Kristen Thomas (Smitty) of Townsend, GA; two sons William Maulden of Abbeville, GA, and Ryan Maulden of Townsend, GA; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step-children Marion Sullivan (Chucky) of Twin City, GA, and Cindy Walters (Slade) of Brunswick, GA; a sister- in – law Cathy Maulden of Townsend, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

Family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525.
