With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William R. Bergen, a beloved husband and friend. William passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 74.

William was born on January 27, 1951, in Trenton, NJ to parents Richard and Rose Bergen, who predeceased him. From a young age, Bill exhibited a curious mind and an innate mechanical ability. He was an inquisitive child, often taking things apart and re-assembling them.

Bill attended Pemberton Township High School, where he excelled academically and developed a passion for automotive repair and metal work. His natural ability led to a life-long love of cars.

Bill is survived by his wife of 39 years, Melody Bergen, and his sister Phyllis Hambleton.

On March 22, 2025, at 10AM, an hour of remembrance will be held at Lankenau Funeral Home on Elizabeth Street Pemberton, NJ. Burial will immediately follow at Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery, Jacobstown, NJ.
