William Delone Adams

William D. Adams, 79, of Brunswick, departed this life Tuesday, February 6, 2017 at SGHS Glynn. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday, February 10, 2017 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Crandall officiating. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, Georgia at 3PM with Justin Adams, Logan Adams, Richard Lockhart, Bret Lockhart, Bill Rush, and Megan Rush, Honorary Pallbearers will be Dean Moon, Lee Moon, and Mendi Rush.

Born January 24, 1938 in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Robert L. and Lillie Mae L. Adams, he was a Graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1956. Mr. Adams served in The US Navy, and retired as an electrician from Hercules. He was of the Methodist Faith, and had been a longtime resident of Glynn County. Bill enjoyed hunting, photography, woodworking and computers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara K. Adams in 2013.

Survivors include his son, John Adams and wife Karen of Brunswick, 2 grandsons, Justin Adams and Logan Adams, two sisters, Barbara Moon and Miriam Madison both of Brunswick, and several nieces and nephews.
