Wanda was born in Brockton, Mass. on May 6, 1925, the daughter of Mary and Bronislaw Baranowski. In addition to Wanda’s parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Robert L. Gill, Frank S. Taylor, her husband of 10 years, her brother Chester Baranowski and her grandson, Dylan W. Gill.
Wanda was a professional singer before she married and was often compared to Judy Garland. Wanda and her husband “Bob” Gill built and operated Troupe Creek Marina with their son David Gill. Wanda loved gardening, her animals and fishing. Wanda, also, enjoyed her extensive travels with "Bob" while he was a naval blimp pilot. Our prayer is that she is in heaven now holding a fishing pole with her dog by her side.
Left to cherish her memory are Wanda’s daughter Bobbie Gill Pezzuti (John) of Jacksonville, FL, her son David Gill (Jill), Brunswick GA. Grandsons: Johnny Pezzuti (Bernadine), Erie, CO., Dave Gill (Candi), Brunswick GA., Tanner Gill, Atlanta, GA. and granddaughter Theresa Pezzuti Foskey (Dan), Jacksonville, FL. Great Grand Children: Amanda Foskey, Brian Foskey, Robby Pezzuti, Catalina Pezzuti, Carson Gill, Dylan R. Gill, Saylor Gill and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 17th, 5-7 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave. Brunswick, GA. Family has requested that masks be worn.
